Stories from a seasoned screenwriter. Take heart! Your creative source is infinite and un-ending. Sometimes Hollywood just rips up the roadmap back to it. The bottom line is that Hollywood is not at all as bad as it sounds. Additionally, it's worse than you can imagine. Remember to pack a sense of humor.
I am a writer living in southern california. One of the uncredited writers of FANTASTIC FOUR, I wrote FIRE DOWN BELOW starring Steven Seagal, and the TV Movie 12:01 PM starring Martin Landau and MANEATER with Gary Busey which aired on SciFi channel in 2008. I have directed short films, comedy shorts. I have written on numerous studio assignments, some for big shot actors, some for small shot nobodies.

Why Screenwriter Bones? Because if you don't feel it in your bones, if you don't have the need to write as much as you have the need to eat, set the compas on anything else but West and keep yourself a good 600 miles out of town.

Way to go - I'm peripherially connected to a Lifetime movie that just started shooting in Canada...version of script had been kicking around a while but from major rewrite to deal to production all since May...
wcdixon: cool - you're preipherally connected, or you did the rewrite?
Phil - you doing this flick with RHI? Or is it Hallmark itself?
I'm partners on several other projects with the line/service producer - so provided notes for the rewrite and have watched its progress from the other desk.
